Shrove Tuesday (Pancake Day!) is on Tuesday and Lent starts on the following day, Ash Wednesday, when there will be a eucharist service at St Matthews, Leavenheath, at 7pm.
2nd Sunday before Lent Details of the Lent Course can be found on the pew sheet together with all the services for this coming Sunday and next.
On Sunday we welcome Bishop Martin to our 10am Benefice Service at Stoke. All are welcome to enjoy the service, meet the Bishop and stay for refreshments afterwards.
There are services at each of our five churches this Sunday: 8am Stoke Holy Communion BCP (SJ) 9.30am Polstead Morning Prayer (LB) 9.30am Wiston Morning Prayer (DJ) 10am Nayland Family Service (HS/SJ) 6.30pm Leavenheath Evening Praise(Team) Next Sunday (28th Jan) we welcome Bishop Martin to St Mary’s Stoke for our Family Eucharist at 10am. All are welcome to join this service, meet the Bishop and enjoy refreshments afterwards.
